Mr Dipak Rana BSc (Hons) MCOptom Ophthalmic Optometrist
Our owner and resident Optometrist. Assuring that all the examinations are carried out to his personal high standards, Dipak performs all the consultations himself.
Dispenses are also generally conducted by Dipak, especially varifocal and other complexities. He insists on accurately taking the specific measurements and follow up collections where his skills are required.
Graduated from City University in July 2001 with an Honours Degree in Optometry.
Gained pre-registration experience with a leading multiple, Southend-on-sea.
Qualified as an Optometrist in January 2003 after completing the Professional Qualifying Examination set by the College Of Optometrists.
Member of the College of Optometrists, the General Optical Council and the Association of Optometrists in the UK.
Worked for private independent ophthalmic practice for 7 continuous years.
Succesfuly attained the required points for CET (Continuous Education & Training) to date.
Mrs Wendy New, Practice Manager
Wendy carries out the day to day running of the practice from booking appointments to the logistics behind the scenes.
Wendy has several experiences in opticians and will help every individual in choosing spectacles when required.
Wendy will help with any repairs and now is fully trained as an in house glazer, cutting spectacle lenses on site, hence facilitating our lab services.
Mrs Heidi Rana BSc, MSc, Finance Director
Heidi, in addition to reconciliation duties, also takes an active role in stock purchases and does occasionally cover holidays and sickness.
Mr D B Rana BSc MSc, NHS/VAT administrator
Although not practice based, Mr Ranas role involves processing the NHS forms for subsequent submission and payment verification- a vital part of the business. Quarterly VAT return summation and submission.
Miss Amy Pusey
Amy is our part time receptionist and does all our advertising. Amy supports with admin jobs, Taking payments and booking appointments for our patients.
